PRESENT: God With Us

The message of Advent and the very hope of Christmas is that although broken and sinful humanity exists as hostile enemies of our holy Creator, God purposed to come near across the greatest of divides rather than turn away. In infinite love, God entered our chaos and confusion, becoming present in the lives of humanity, sending his one and only Son as fully man and fully God that we might be restored to life in him if we place our hope in his life, death, and resurrection. As we grow in our awareness of both our great sin and God’s greater mercy, we will live increasingly in thankful, hope-filled joy and peace knowing that no matter how difficult the struggle, our God will help us and keep us until the day we see him face to face.
