The Church

The gospel is to inform and affect every single aspect of our lives as individuals and as a church...so how does it inform and affect the way we think and act every day about the church? What does God's word say about the church? What is God's view of the church? Paul told the Ephesian elders to "pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood (Acts 20:28 ESV). The fact that he obtained the church by his own blood speaks volumes as to how God views the church. This brief series gives an introductory look into God's perspective and what that means for the church.
