Jonah: The Deep Mercy of God
God has revealed himself in the Bible so very clearly as merciful God. "...the LORD, the LORD, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness (Exodus 34:6 ESV)." This is the God whom we are being introduced to, or reacquainted with, in this quick look through the book of Jonah. Our God is a God of deep, persistent, and purposeful mercy.
