Advent: The Light of Life
Just like God said "Let there be light" in a dark and formless creation– Jesus, the Eternal Word came as light into our world covered by the spiritual darkness of sin and death. Jesus' light of life is a light that the darkness has not overcome. It is life that we rejoice in while we wait for the sunrise of our new life to turn into full dawn of resurrection life. In the meantime we cling to his promise, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." John 8:12
